Apprentice Blogpost

The past 4 and a half weeks I have been working on the Apprentice project. I have been working with Apex which contained 3 close friends and 1 stranger I didn't know much about. Over time I have built a friendship with  the stranger and now we are pretty close friends. I think Apex did well in all the tasks, but had some difficulties. We did everything in the last second possible. Also some people didn't do their job. That is my experience with Apex.
 Not Actually Us
I've learned many wonderful things from the Apprentice Project. I've learned many special things like making resumes in the project, but that is the important things I learned. I learned how to work together in a team. I learned that everything doesn't revolve around me. I have learned many wonderful things with the apprentice project.

New Year Resolutions

Many people have goals for the New Year. These goals are called resolutions. For this New Year I have 3 resolutions. Some people are broad with their resolutions and don't explain how they are going to these things. I know what you're thinking, why the heck would I want to read about someone's New Years resolution that I don't even know? I'll tell you why. Maybe, reading my resolutions will give you an idea for a resolution to make your life better. Remember don't be too unrealistic, like saying you want to fly for your resolution, or you want to swim to India from Mexico. You have to be realistic.
                                .

Goal #1 I want to get straight A's on my report card for the rest of the year. I plan on doing this by studying a little each night or whenever I have time. I will study for all my tests and do all my homework.

Goal #2 I want lose 10 pounds. I recently looked at my mirror and said, " I am fat!" I plan to work out and do some sort of exercise for at lest 60 minutes. I want to drink at least a gallon of water everyday and control my sugar intake.

Goal #3 I want to make 10 new friends. I don't want to be that person who is socially awkward. I want to meet new people and I want them to like them for who I truly am. I want friends that will be there for me later in life.

Those are my goals or resolutions for the New Year. What are yours.

NBA Lockout

A lot of basketball fans around the world are disappointed because of the NBA lockout. Basically the lockout is  taking place because the commissioner of the NBA doesn't wan't to give a lot of money, but the NBA wan't to get a raise. In other words the commissioner is in charge of the NBA players paychecks and he doesn't want to give them more money, but the NBA players wan't more money. Since both sides don't agree the players don't play and no profits are made.

Some players just want to play basketball so some of the big stars like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Deron Williams,e.t.c. are signing short term contracts with international teams like teams from Turkey and other countries. Most people don't get to watch Turkey and other countries basketball games on their T.V. What I'm going to try to do to avoid the lockout is watch another sport or watch a lot of college basketball.

Basketball

Basketball is a unique sport that can keep stress away from your life, if you have a passion for it. If you are mad entering the court, I guarantee you won't be leaving the court. If you are mad you put that aggressiveness on the court, and try your hardest, and the chances are if you try your hardest you will always win. Winning also makes you happy. Personally I'm a Miami Heat fan, but I'm not going not going to focus on the Heat that much. I will write about the game of basketball not just about the NBA, although I will put some basketball videos and write about recent basketball games. So stay tuned for more updates.

For people out there who don't know much about basketball, here is a little story  about how the game was made. Basketball was created in Springfield, Illinois by James Naismith in a YMCA gym. They put up peach baskets to use as the hoop and a regular ball to shoot with. Every time some made a basket they had to climb a ladder to bring the ball down. The current height of a basketball hoop is ten feet high because the wall they put the peach baskets on was ten feet high. Many of the rules back then weren't the same as they are now, but over time the game evolved and new rules were added. Then the game evolved and new rules were added. This then became the sport we know as basketball.
